SWC: Hitler Valentine’s Day Cards at Michigan College; “Enough is enough. Jew-haters must be held accountable!”

 At University of Minnesota, Grandson of Holocaust Survivor Finds Swastika in Dorm Room  

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is urging Central Michigan University to expel the student who inserted Valentine’s Day cards into campus packages that said, “my love 4 u burns like 6,000 jews” with a photo of Adolf Hitler and was signed “XOXO, Courtney.”

“It’s not enough that the Republican Club has apologized. The bigot or bigots who produced and distributed the hatred across the campus mocking the 6 million Jews murdered during the Nazi Holocaust should be expelled,” said Rabbis Marvin Hier and Abraham Cooper, Dean and Founder and Associate Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish human rights NGO dedicated to teaching the lessons of the Holocaust.

“The Simon Wiesenthal Center is also outraged by a hate crime perpetrated against a Jewish student at University of Minnesota, who found a swastika in his dorm room. We expect that the University will take swift action to find and punish the perpetrator,” Center officials added.

“It is time that America acknowledges that anti-Semitism is a problem that must be confronted and that anti-Semites will be held accountable for their hatred.”

“It also time for politicians, social activists and the media to stop using Hitler, the Swastika, and other Nazi imagery in their protests. They are inappropriate, debase history and are hurtful and insulting to the true victims of the Nazis,” Center officials concluded.
