Antisemite Roger Waters Supports Venezuelan Dictator Maduros' Blockade of Emergency Food and Medicine

Facing the desperate situation in Venzuela and the refusal of the country's disputed President, Nicolás Maduro to let in humanitarian aid from the international community, Richard Branson, British business magnate and founder of the Virgin Group has organized a Live Aid-style concert in the border city of Cúcuta, Colombia.

Pink Floyd's Roger Waters' response to Branson is to "back off" - that aid is politicized and the world should leave the Venezuelan people alone.

Dr. Shimon Samuels, SWC Director for International Relations stated: "This leader of the Boycott, Disinvestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign dreams more of choking Israel economically than bringing succor to the sick and starving of Venezuela," adding, “Right now, Waters is irrelevant. What is necessary is a Cold War Berlin siege-style airdrops under the auspices of the Organization of American States (OAS). As a consultant to that regional agency, this is an initiative that the Wiesenthal Centre will propose. It is probable that Israel would assist in providing emergency food and medicine."

“Leave it up to an anti-Semite who hates Israel to speak out against humanitarian aid for Venezuelan people, pauperized by Maduro, who now lack basics to survive, is beyond belief,” declared Rabbi Abraham Cooper, SWCs Associated Dean and Director, Global Social Action Agenda.

"Waters' hypocrisy is extreme. He asks not to transform a concert for humanitarian aid into a political act, when his own concerts became a vector for political hatred. He declares himself contrary to the position of all the countries in which he gave concerts on his last Latin American tour collecting fortunes but not even offering his 'humanitarian aid' to the people of Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba or Nicaragua, whose governments he supports, but he avoided visiting, because there is no money to take from them there," concluded Dr. Ariel Gelblung, SWC's Latin America Representative.

El Antisemita Roger Waters Apoya el Bloqueo de Alimentos y Medicamentos de Emergencia de Maduro

Frente a la desesperada situación venezolana y la negativa del ilegítimo presidente Nicolás Maduro a permitir la ayuda humanitaria de la comunidad internacional, el millonario británico Richard Branson organizó para el próximo viernes y sábado un concierto al estilo de Live Aid en la ciudad fronteriza de Cúcuta, Colombia.

El Ex Pink Floyd Roger Waters sostiene que la ayuda está politizada y que el mundo debería dejar en paz al pueblo venezolano.

El Director de Relaciones Internacionales del Centro Wiesenthal, Dr. Shimon Samuels, declaró: "Este líder de la campaña de boicot, sanciones y desinversión sueña más con ahogar a Israel económicamente que con ayudar a los enfermos y hambrientos de Venezuela", agregando "Ahora mismo, Waters es irrelevante. Lo que se necesita es un puente aéreo de ayuda como en los tiempos de la Guerra Fría en Berlín bajo los auspicios de la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA). Como consultores de esa agencia regional, esta es una iniciativa que propondrá el Centro Wiesenthal. Es probable que Israel ayude a proporcionar alimentos y medicamentos de emergencia".

"Dejen al antisemita que odia a Israel para que se pronuncie contra la ayuda humanitaria para los venezolanos empobrecidos por Maduro, que ahora carecen de lo básico para sobrevivir más allá de lo que se cree", declaró el Rabino Abraham Cooper, Decano Adjunto del Centro.

"La hipocresía de Waters es extrema. Pide no transformar un concierto de ayuda humanitaria en un acto político, cuando sus propios conciertos se convierten en un vector de odio político. Se declara contrario a la posición de todos los países en los que dió conciertos en Su última gira por América Latina en los que recolectó fortunas, pero ni siquiera ofreció su “ayuda humanitaria” a los pueblos de Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba o Nicaragua, cuyos gobiernos apoya, pero evitó visitarlos porque no hay dinero para llevarse de allí ", concluyó el Dr. Ariel Gelblung, Representante para América Latina del Centro Wiesenthal.
