Wiesenthal Centre Protests Propaganda Clip for French "Anti-Zionist Party": "June Elections are Chemotherapy against Metastasis of Israeli Cancer – Put Shoah Religion in the Garbage Can"

Paris

In a letter to French Interior Minister, Michèle Alliot-Marie, the Simon Wiesenthal Centre’s Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels, protested "one of the worst examples of racist obscenities to offend the good name of France" – a video clip broadcast through the internet sitehttp://www.leonfasc.sitew.com/#Accueil_et_News.D
(for direct access to the video clip:

"The clip, produced in support of the so-called 'Anti-Zionist Party' campaign in this week's European Parliament elections, vomits a litany of antisemitic stereotypes and, by allusion, would incite to the murder of Jews in France."

Samuels continued, "Entitled FASC + DIEUDOMANIA, it portrays the party's founder, Dieudonné M'Bala M'Bala, proclaiming: 'I Want Your Vote Against Zionism!'"

The clip then proceeds through rap chanting:

- In June 2009, France votes against the conspiracy.
- We assemble Muslims and Catholics, extreme right and extreme left to smash the Israeli lobby, the Zionist taboo.
- France is yours!
- Red, White and Blue [in clear deference to the extreme-right National Front]
- 60 years of Israel, 60 years of quarrels, manipulations
- France is French; Lebanon is Lebanese; Iran is Iranian; Europe is European; Africa is African; Palestine is Palestinian; Israel is at its end!
- The June elections in France are a chemotherapy against the metastasis of the Israeli cancer.
- Put the Shoah religion in the garbage can, France is Catholic.
- Get rid of these dogs, Zionism is at an end, twist its neck.
- No to treachery, No to Zionism, Vote for Dieudonné.

The letter lamented the fact that "French legislation had been unequipped to ban the 'Anti-Zionist Party' itself, but that the consequences of these continued activities, beyond the elections, for the Jewish community and the values of the French Republic are self-evident."

The Centre urged the Minister "to see that this provocative website - and others of its kind – are removed forthwith."
