Anti-Semitism on Campus: A Clear and Present Danger

Due to editing errors, we are sending you an updated Anti-Semitism on Campus: A Clear and Present Dangerreport. The Simon Wiesenthal Center apologizes for the inadvertent errors.

Israel is the subject of multi-pronged campaigns of delegitimization on university campuses across North America and beyond. Israel Apartheid Week, intimidation of pro-Israel students and faculty, and the disruption of pro-Israel speakers manifest in some of our nation's leading schools of higher learning.

Virulent anti-Zionism is often a thinly-veiled disguise for virulent anti-Semitism. Jewish students who proudly display their love of Israel, including members of Jewish fraternities and Hillels, increasingly find themselves harassed, vilified, and even targets of hate attacks.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s newest report, Anti-Semitism on Campus: A Clear and Present Danger, written by historian, Dr. Harold Brackman, analyzes the situation on elite campuses including; Harvard, Yale and the ten-campus University of California system as well as a cluster of Midwest universities.

Anti-Semitism on Campus: A Clear and Present Danger analyzes campus anti-Semitism and points to the responsibility of campus administrators to combat the hate.
