At the Simon Wiesenthal Center, we have been bombarded with requests from members, students on campuses, pro-Israel activists and others that there is a desperate need for the truth about Israel and her people to be told and disseminated in a clear, factual way.

Included is contact information for U.S. and world leaders and key news bureaus to be used for reference when writing to your local newspaper, government official or news agency.

TRUTH: Unlike Apartheid South Africa, Israel is a democratic state with a Jewish majority but a 20% Arab minority that enjoys all the political, economic and religious rights and freedoms of citizenship
• Plans to build 1,600 more homes in East Jerusalem further prove Israel is attempting to ‘Judaize’ the city
TRUTH: Those 1,600 homes were planed for heavily Jewish neighborhoods in North Jerusalem where some 250,000 Jews live — an area the size of Newark, New Jersey
