SWC AMONG GROUPS PLAYING CRITICAL ROLE IN COMBATTING ANTI-SEMITISM:
RABBI HIER DELIVERS TESTIMONY IN US CONGRESS

This was part of the testimony delivered by SWC founder and dean Rabbi Marvin Hier to the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe’s hearing on Taking Stock: Combating Anti-Semitism in the OSCE Region.

Hier commended the OSCE which he said has emerged as the most effective address for combatting anti-semitism. In 2005, Rabbi Hier served as a US delegate at the Cordova OSCE Conference. US Congressman Alcee L. Hastings (D-FL), Chairman of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, echoed Rabbi Hier's call for a parallel international conference to counter Durban II.

Please continue to support our important work.

“Classical anti-semitic themes and imagery have resurfaced with a fury…State anti-semitism is back in vogue…the new anti-semitism is especially dangerous because it is inextricably linked to the world of terrorism… the Internet has been manipulated by hate and terror groups to spread dangerous creeds among the young and impressionable to recruit and raise funds.”
