SWC wishes new Prime Minister Liz Truss well as she faces many challenges both domestic and global.
“The most important move Prime Minister Truss can make in the international arena is to stop the headlong rush to reach a bad nuclear deal that will empower the nefarious Iranian regime with billions in sanction relief and bring it closer to a nuclear weapon,” said Rabbi Marvin Hier, SWC CEO and Founder and Rabbi Abraham Cooper, SWC Associate Dean and Global Social Action Director.
“I was deeply impressed by then Foreign Minister Truss when she kicked off the International Ministerial Conference on Religious Freedom in London before hundreds of faith leaders and human rights activists that I had the honor to attend,” said Rabbi Cooper. “She clearly articulated her government’s commitment to protecting religious freedom around the world. PM Truss is a friend of Israel.”
