One Year Later: We Remember the Victims of Mumbai Terror

On November 26, 2008, Islamist terrorists from Pakistan launched attacks on the leading hotels in Mumbai, the central train station, and also stormed the city's Chabad House. By the time Indian commandoes retook the hotels and Chabad House, 170 people had been killed and hundreds wounded. All six Jewish hostages at the Chabad House including Rabbi and Mrs. Holtzberg had been murdered.

Chabad House, Mumbai: At a memorial service one year after the terrorist attacks, religious leaders gathered in solidarity and prayer. Spiritual leaders representing several religions around the world make their way to Chabad House for a memorial service for the 26/11 victims.
Trident Hotel: Religious leaders from nine faith communities and a survivor of 26/11 spoke at a solidarity gathering co-sponsored by the SWC and The Art of Living Foundation.

The bedroom of then-2-year-old, Moshe Holtzberg who was rescued by his Indian nanny. Six Jews were killed at the Chabad Center, including Moshe's parents, Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg.
