Los Angeles Community Memorial and Solidarity Rally Held for Victims of This Week’s Terror Attack In Israel

COMMUNITY MEMORIAL AND SOLIDARITY RALLY FOR VICTIMS  OF THIS WEEK’S TERROR ATTACK IN ISRAEL

 

 

On Sunday, March 9, the SimonWiesenthal Center and Young Israel of Century City and other concerned community organizations co-sponsored a Community Memorial and Solidarity Rally to remember the six teenagers and two adults who were murdered at a Jerusalem yeshiva while preparing for the upcoming Purim holiday. "We gathered together to demand that the civilized world finally confront the plague of suicide terror--the greatest danger facing us all today," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder of the Simon Wiesenthal Center.

Speakers included: SWC Founder and Dean, Rabbi Marvin Hier; Israeli Consul General Jacob Dayan; Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, L.A. City Councilman Jack Weiss; and Rabbi Elazar Muskin of Young Israel of Century City.
