New SWC Report: Deadly New Virus Intersects with History's Oldest Hate

Jews as Christ killers. Jews as Shylocks.  Jews as disease purveyors. These centuries old, anti-Semitic stereotypes are being unleashed once again today. The Coronavirus pandemic may be new, but Jews have had a long and tragic history of being accused of spreading deadly viruses.


Today, as the world struggles to deal with Coronavirus, Jew-haters are hard at work, once again fueling and spreading anti-Semitism and anti-Israel hatred by blaming Jews for spreading this new virus.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s latest report, authored by Simon Wiesenthal Center historical consultant, Dr. Harold Brackman, examines the historical roots, going back millennia, of blaming Jews, coupled with current examples of demonizing Jews by using this pandemic to spread anti-Semitism and hate around the world.
