Tomorrow, January 27^th, is International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp in 1945.

71 years later, European leaders must mark this day - not only to remember the six million European Jews murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators – but to also take new and strong measures to ensure the safety of today’s Jewish communities across Europe who are facing unprecedented anti-Semitism unlike anything seen since World War II.

Please join with the Simon Wiesenthal Center in urging Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, the institution that defines the general political direction and priorities of the European Union, to immediately convene a special summit to confront the increasingly perilous anti-Semitism, which left unchecked could lead to the end of a significant Jewish presence in Europe.
